Investors gained on the floor of exchange today as stocks expanded their benchmark index reaching high with +0.29% to close positive. Stocks pulled up from record level following its previous gain +0.43% recorded last trading session.
Activities on the Nigerian Stock Exchange closed on a positive note as the NSE All-share index appreciated by +0.29% to closed at 39,128.34 basis points, in contrast to the +0.43% appreciation recorded in the previous session. Stocks expanded by 112.76 points while market capitalization closed at 20.477 trillion. Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stand at -2.84%.
The market breadth closed negative as CONOIL led 22 gainers charts appreciating by 9.97% to close at current N17.05 against 12 losers topped by GUINNESS declining by -9.89% to close at current N31.85. ZENITH topped the top five most traded stocks with 12,467,259 million shares estimated at N276,747,512.55.
