NIGERIA STOCK EXCHANGE CLOSED ON A POSITIVE NOTE, AS NSE ALL-SHARE INDEX APPRECIATED BY +0.61%

Stocks soared, investors gained marginally as the benchmark index increased today to closed positive. The stock market gained twice this week to tackle the losses that befell the market the first two days the market opened and yesterday. The market recorded a loss yesterday depreciating by -0.71%.

 

 

 

Activities on the Nigerian Stock Exchange closed on a positive note as the NSE All-share index appreciated by +0.61% to closed at 38,808.01 basis points, in contrast to the -0.71% depreciation recorded in the previous session. Stocks expanded by 236.12 points while market capitalization closed at 20.310 trillion. Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stand at -3.63%.

 

 

 

The market breadth closed negative as CHAMS led 25 gainers charts appreciating by 10.00% to close at current N 0.22 against 9 losers topped by JAPOUGOLD declining by -10.00% to close at current N0.63. FIDELITY topped the top five traded stocks with 46,151,809.00 million shares estimated at N110,562,441.03.
