Zenith Bank has changed the payment date for the 30 kobos interim dividend from the proposed date of September 2, 2019, to September 4, 2019.
In a statement sent to the Nigeria Stock Exchange, the bank stated that the postponement was necessitated by the need to ensure that all transactions executed on the qualification date of 29th August 2019 are settled and to determine the number of eligible shareholders.
It will be recalled the Board of Directors of Zenith Bank plc proposed an interim dividend of 30 kobos per ordinary share. the dividend will be paid to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members at the close of business of August 29, 2019. The payment date for the dividend was set for September 2, 2019.
