Activities on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange closed today on a positive note as the NSE All-share Index sustain a positive trend appreciating by +0.04% to close at 37,872.55 basis points, as against a flat rate of 0.00% recorded in the previous session. Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stand at -6.33%.
Market capitalization closed at N19.73 trillion. A total of 197,231,557 Shares were traded on the floor of the exchange today in 3,610 deals valued at about N2.14 trillion. Turnover Volume decreased by -0.02% as against +5.36% appreciation recorded in the previous session to close negative.
ZENITH BANK the Turnover Volume and Most Traded Stock with 17,648,167 shares worth N424,695,422.00 million traded in 378 deals, while UBA led the List of Active Stocks with 35,921,531 shares valued at N269,553,291.35 million.
Stock market breadth closed positive as CAPHOTEL led the 18 gainers charts for equity appreciating by +10.00% to close at current N2.64 against 11 losers topped by LINKASSURE declining -5.41% to close at the current price of N0.70.
