NIGERIA STOCK EXCHANGE CLOSED ON A NEGATIVE NOTE, AS NSE ALL-SHARE INDEX DEPRECIATED BY -0.10%

Activities on the Nigerian Stock Exchange closed today May 24, 2021, on a negative note as the NSE All-share index depreciated by -0.10% to close at 38,287.58 basis points, as against the -0.01% depreciation recorded in the previous session. Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stand at -5.18%.

 

 

 

Market capitalization closed at N19.956 trillion.  The total volume of 141,146,239.00 million shares worth N1.094 billion traded in 3,566 deals. EquityCap decreased by -43.92% from N1.95 billion recorded in the last session.

 

 

 

UAC-PRO topped the turnover volume list with 17,344,905 million shares worth N13,335,873.31 in 55 deals while ZENITH BANK was the most traded stock with 7,211,519 million shares worth N166,079,560.70 traded in 286 deals.

 

 

 

Stock market breadth closed positive as ROYALEX led the gainer’s charts for equity appreciating by 9.68% to close at current N0.68 while ABCTRANS topped the list losers declining by -9.78% to close at the current price of N0.37.
