NIGERIA STOCK EXCHANGE CLOSED ON NEGATIVE NOTE, AS NSE ALL-SHARE INDEX DEPRECIATED BY -0.08%

Activities on the Nigerian Stock Exchange closed today on a negative note as the NSE All-share index depreciated by -0.08% to close at 38,256.76 basis points, as against -0.10% depreciation recorded in the previous session. Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stand at -5.26%.

 

 

 

Market capitalization closed at N19.940 trillion. A total of 250,204,058.00 Shares were traded in 3,534.00 deals valued at about N1.55 billion. The turnover volume moved up by +17.27% relative to  -19.02% depreciation recorded previously to close positive.

 

 

 

 COURTVILLE topped the turnover volume list with 36,851,187 million shares worth N747,202,267 in 56 deals while GUARANTY was the most traded stock with 1,736,214 million shares worth N206,010,358.70  traded in 322 deals.

 

 

 

Stock market breadth closed negative as CILEASING led the 12 gainers charts for equity appreciating by 9.85% to close at current N4.46 against 17 losers topped by LASACO declining by -7.14% to close at the current price of N1.43.
