Equity Investors Gained N101.79 Billion, as NSE All-Share Index Appreciated By +0.50%

Activities on the Nigerian Stock Exchange closed today on a positive note as the NSE All-share index appreciated by +0.50% to close at 38,881.70  basis points, as against -0.10% depreciation recorded in the previous session. Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stand at -3.57%.

 

 

 

Market capitalization closed at N20.266 trillion. A total of 218,517,879 Shares were traded on the floor of the exchange today in 3,630 deals valued at about N1.59 billion. Turnover volume appreciated by +3.68%  as against +5.87% increase recorded in the previous session to close positive.

 

 

 

ZENITHBANK topped the turnover volume with 15,251,129 shares valued at N349,317,606.70 in 268 deals while GUARANTY topped the list of most traded with a total of 10,267,081 shares estimated at N291,326,561.50 traded in 272 deals.

 

 

 

Stock market breadth closed negative as OKOMUOIL led the 16 gainers charts for equity appreciating by +10.00% to close at current N106.15 against 17 losers topped by CWG declining by -9.42% to close at the current price of N1.25.
