Stock Market Closed on a Negative Note As Investors Lost N20.69 Billion, NSA All-Share Index was Down-tick By -0.10%

Activities on the Nigerian Stock Exchange closed today closed on a negative note as the NSE All-share index depreciates by -0.10% to close at 38,686.40  basis points, as against the +0.46% appreciation recorded in the previous session. Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stand at -4.10%.

 

 

 

Market capitalization closed at N20.168 trillion. A total of 210,751,512 Shares were traded on the floor of the exchange today in 3,958 deals valued at about N1.50 billion. Turnover volume moved up by +5.87% relative to -20.27% decreased recorded in the previous session to close positive.

 

 

 

ZENITHBANK topped the turnover volume and the list of most traded with a total of 15,943,969 shares estimated at N365,897,288.85 traded in 348 deals.

 

 

 

Stock market breadth closed negative as MORISON led the 13 gainers charts for equity appreciating by +9.73% to close at current N1.24 against 28 losers topped by CWG declining by -9.93% to close at the current price of N1.36.
