Activities on the Nigerian Stock Exchange closed today on a positive note as the NSE All-share index up-tick by +0.10% to close at 39,210.10 basis points, as against +0.74% appreciation recorded in the previous session. Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stand at -2.70%.
Market capitalization closed at N20.437 trillion. A total of 158,365,536 Shares were traded on the floor of the exchange today in 3,330.00 deals valued at about N2.236 billion. Turnover volume dropped by -12.76% as against -16.97% decreased recorded in the previous session to close negative.
ZENITH BANK topped the list of active stock, turnover volume, and most traded stock with 27,323,705 shares valued at N629,220,680 traded in 369 deals.
Stock market breadth closed positive as LINKASSURE led the 20 gainers charts for equity appreciating by +9.09% to close at current N0.60 against 15 losers topped by CWG declining by -9.60% to close at the current price of N1.13.
