Activities on the Nigerian Stock Exchange closed on a negative note as the NSE All-share index depreciated by +0.36% to close at 37,857.89 basis points against the -1.24% decline recorded in the previous session. Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stand at -6.37%.
Market capitalization closed at N19.72 trillion. A total of 187,243,716 Shares were traded on the floor of the exchange today in 4,017 deals valued at about N2.89 billion. Turnover Volume dropped by -22.58% as against +1.51% appreciation recorded in the previous session to close negative.
ZENITH BANK topped the Turnover Volume, List of Active Stocks, and Most Traded Stock with 35,318,861 shares worth N870,866,230.90 million traded in 473 deals.
Stock market breadth closed positive as MAYBAKER led the 27 gainers charts for equity appreciating by +9.89% to close at current N1.00 against 10 losers topped by CWG declining -9.52% to close at the current price of N1.14.
