Activities on the Nigerian Stock Exchange closed on a positive note as the NSE All-share inched up marginally by +0.52% to close at 38,418.04 basis points against +0.02% uptick recorded in the previous session. Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stand at -4.82%.
Market capitalization closed at N20.03 trillion. A total of 288,926,082 Shares were traded on the floor of the exchange today in 4,540 deals valued at about N2.42 trillion. Turnover Volume increased by +2.23% as against the +35.10% surge recorded in the previous session to close positive.
ZENITH BANK led the list of Most Traded Stock with 11,453,687 shares worth N280,972,291.20 million traded in 362 deals. While FEDELITYBANK topped the list of Active Stock with 42,067,889 shares estimated at N96,624,247.61 in 185 deals.
Stock market breadth closed positive as MAY BAKER led the 28 gainers charts for equity appreciating by +9.65% to close at current N4.43 against 10 losers topped by ETERNA declining -9.73% to close at the current price of N6.77.
