Activities on the Nigerian Stock Exchange closed on a positive note as the NSE All-share appreciated by +0.40% to close at 37,954.35 basis points, as against the -0.11% downtick recorded in the previous session. Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stand at -6.10%.
Market capitalization closed at N19.781 trillion. A total of 167,407,438 Shares were traded on the floor of the exchange today in 3,256 deals valued at about N1.83 billion. Turnover Volume dropped by -19.65% as against -4.54% depreciation recorded in the previous session to close negative.
ZENITH BANK topped the Turnover Volume, List of Active Stocks, and Most Traded Stock with 33,681,963 shares worth N330,124,424.40 million traded in 279 deals.
Stock market breadth closed positive as MBENEFIT led the 20 gainers charts for equity appreciating by +10.00% to close at current N0.44 against 15 losers topped by ROYALEX declining -9.56% to close at the current price of N1.23.
