Negative trend continues on the Nigeria Stock Exchange, as NSE All-Share Index Depreciated By -1.81%.

Activities on the Nigerian Stock Exchange closed today on a negative note as the NSE All-share dips further by -1.81% to close at 37,847.07 basis points, as against -0.27% depreciation recorded in the previous session. Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stand at -6.40%.

 

 

 

Market capitalization closed at N19.725 trillion. A total of 218,271,039 Shares were traded on the floor of the exchange today in 3,524 deals valued at about N2.73billion. Turnover Volume depreciated by -5.18%  as against +37.50% appreciation recorded in the previous session to close negative.

 

 

 

MTNN  led the Turnover Volume list with 2,022,823 shares worth N333,751,986.40 million in 84 deals, ZENITH BANK s the Most Traded stocks with 10,471,001 shares worth N250,124,977.80 million traded in 343 deals. While TRANSCORP topped the list of Active Stocks with 42,441,801.00 shares estimated at N372,208,890.46 million in 112 deals.

 

 

 

Stock market breadth closed negative as FIDSON led the 19 gainers charts for equity appreciating by +10.00% to close at current N5.06 against 23 losers topped by AIRTELAFRI declining -10.00% to close at current price of N678.00.
