Activities on the Nigerian Stock Exchange closed on a negative note as the NSE All-share depreciated by -0.02% to close at 37,898.56 basis points, as against the +0.71% recorded in the previous session. Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stand at -6.26%.
Market capitalization closed at N19.76 trillion. A total of 205,450,099 Shares were traded on the floor of the exchange today in 3,563 deals valued at about N2.73 billion. Turnover Volume dropped by -3.86% as against -6.68% depreciation recorded in the previous session to close negative.
GTCO topped the Turnover Volume and the list of Active Stock with 41,835,911 shares estimated at N1,250,895,163.95 in 223 deals, while ZENITH BANK advanced as the Most Traded Stock with 9,822,533 shares worth N233,785,785.30 million traded in 261 deals.
Stock market breadth closed positive as TRIPLEG led the 20 gainers charts for equity appreciating by +10.00% to close at current N0.77 against 15 losers topped by ROYALEX declining -9.84% to close at the current price of N0.55.
