Investors Lost N25.21 Billion Today as NSE-Benchmark Index Dips by -0.12%

Activities on the Nigerian Stock Exchange floor closed today on a negative note as the NSE All-share Index depreciated by -0.12% to close at 39,434.69 basis points, as against the -0.48% downtick recorded in the previous session. Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stand at -2.12%.

 

 

 

Market capitalization closed at N20.55 trillion. A total of 211,326,680 Shares were traded on the floor of the exchange today in 3,939 deals valued at about N2.03 billion. Turnover Volume depreciated by -24.68% as against +39.01% increased recorded previously to close Negative.

 

 

 

GTCO boosts the Turnover Volume and list of the Most Traded Stock with 20,935,528 shares estimated at N586,122,750.50 million traded in 294 deals; while CHAMS topped the List Active Stock with47,952,868 shares valued at N10,571,529.89 million in 71 deals.

 

 

 

Stock Market Breadth closed positive as FTNCOCOA led the 21 Gainers charts for equity appreciating by +10.00% to close at current N0.44 against 11 losers topped by WAPCO declining -5.29% to close at the current price of N21.50.
