Stock Market Closed on Negative Note as NSE-All Share Index Dips by -0.01%

Activities on the Nigerian Stock Exchange floor closed today on a negative note as the NSE All-share Index move down-tick by -0.01% to close at 39,545.67 basis points, as against +0.11% appreciation recorded in the previous session. Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stand at  -1.83%.

Market capitalization closed at N20.60 trillion. A total of 132,077,093 Shares were traded on the floor of the exchange today in 3,307 deals valued at about N2.67 billion

NESTLE boost the Turnover Volume with 846,046 shares worth N1,184,467,270.10 billion in 21deals, ZENITHBANK led the Most Traded Stock with 8,514,779 units estimated at N206,228,655.85 million traded in 264 deals; while TRANSCORP topped the List of Active Stock with 14,144, 637.00 shares valued at N13,529,424.10 million in 86 deals.

Stock Market Breadth closed positive as PHARMDEKO led the 19 Gainers charts for equity appreciating by +10.00% to close at current N1.43 against 17 losers topped by SCOA declining-9.66% to close at the current price of N1.59.
