NIGERIA STOCK EXCHANGE CLOSED ON A NEGATIVE NOTE, AS NSE ALL-SHARE INDEX DEPRECIATED BY -0.81%

Investor’s lost over N162bn on the floor of the exchange today as the NSE benchmark index dips by -0.81%.

 

 

Activities on the Nigerian Stock Exchange closed on a negative note as the NSE All-share index depreciated by -0.81% to closed at 39,114.73 basis points against the -0.92% depreciation recorded in the previous session. while market capitalization closed at N20.470 trillion. Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stand at -2.96%.

 

 

 

The market breadth closed negative as CONOIL led the 25 gainers charts for equity appreciating by 10.00% to close at N18.70 against 21 losers topped by BOCGAS declining by 9.99% to close at current N12.25. Market turnover closes positive as volume up-tick by +15.43% in contrast to -18.04% depreciation recorded previously. ACCESS was the most active stock to boost the market turnover list with 105,868,042.00 million shares worth N844,209,966.95 in 496 deals.
