NIGERIA STOCK EXCHANGE CLOSED ON A NEGATIVE NOTE, AS NSE ALL-SHARE INDEX DEPRECIATED BY -0.92%

The stock market recorded another loss again as investors lost over N192.69 billion, benchmark index down-tick by -0.92%.

 

 

Activities on the Nigerian Stock Exchange closed on a negative note as the NSE All-share index depreciated by -0.92% to closed at 39,433.81 basis points against -0.08% depreciation recorded in the previous session. while market capitalization closed at N20.637 trillion. Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stand at -2.12%.

 

 

 

The market breadth closed negative as LASACO led the 18 gainers charts for equity appreciating by 9.62% to close at current N1.75 against 16 losers topped by STANBIC declining by -10.83% to close at current N45. Market turnover closes negative as volume drops by -18.04% in contrast to the +29.88% uptick recorded previously. FBNH was the most active stock to boost the market turnover list with 71,284,716.00 million shares worth N523,783,677.65 in 262 deals. unimproved performance when compared with the previous session.
