Stock Market Closed on a Negative Note as, NSE-All Share Index Depreciated by -0.32%

A negative posture was recorded on the floor Nigerian Stock Exchangetodayas the NSE All-share dip by -0.32% to close at 38,801.51 basis points, as against +0.03% inched up recorded in the previous session. Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stand at -3.79%.

 

 

 

Market capitalization closed at N20.22 trillion. A total of 139,782,724 Shares were traded on the floor of the exchange today in 3,655 deals valued at about N1.41 billion. Turnover Volume moved down by -32.24% as against -10.87% decreased recorded in the previous session to close negative.

 

 

 

GTCO topped the Turnover Volume and the list of Most Traded Stocks with 13,004,857 million shares worth N364,852,375.80 traded in 450 deals; while UBA led the List of Active Stocks with 16,433,126 million shares valued at N123,545,331.25 in 165 deals.

Stock market breadth closed positive as CONOIL led the 18 gainers charts for equity appreciating by +10.00% to close at current N20.35 against 16 losers topped by ARDOVA declining -6.25% to close at the current price of N15.00.
