Activities on the Nigerian Stock Exchange floor closed today on a positive note as the NSE All-share Index inched up by +0.69% to close at 39,448.46 basis points, as against the +1.58% appreciation recorded in the previous session. Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stand at-2.08%.
Market capitalization closed at N20.55 trillion. A total of 181,417,236 Shares were traded on the floor of the exchange today in 3,559 deals valued at about N2.09 billion. Turnover Volume depreciated by -61.78% as against +146.40% increase recorded in the previous session to close negative.
MTNN topped the Turnover Volume with 4,515,833 shares worth N777,805,650 million traded in 104 deals; GTCO led the Most Traded Stock with1,858,365 estimated at N52,287,414.10 traded in 232 deals; while TRANSCORP led the List of Active Stocks with 20,487,522 shares valued at N19341509.09 million in 101 deals.
Stock Market Breadth closed positive as PHAEMDEKO led the 20 gainers charts for equity appreciating by +9.17% to close at current N1.19 against 15 losers topped by WEMABANK declining -7.32% to close at the current price of N0.76.
