Stock Market Closed on a Positive Note, As NSE all-share index Recorded Gain of +0.46%

Activities on the Nigerian Stock Exchange closed today on a positive note as the NSE All-share index appreciated by +0.46% to close at 38,726.10 basis points, as against +0.17% appreciation recorded in the previous session to sustain positive trends for the week. Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stand at -3.99%.

 

 

 

Market capitalization closed at N20.184 trillion. A total of 199,063,048 Shares were traded on the floor of the exchange today in 3,150 deals valued at about N1.59 billion. Turnover volume depreciated by -20.27% as against +59.14%  increased recorded in the previous session to close positive.

 

 

 

SOVRENINS topped the turnover list of active stock with a total of 31,785,047 shares estimated at N8,347,338.63 in 41 deals while ZENITHBANK topped the list of most traded stock with 3,344,288 valued at N76,809,137.15  traded in 237 deals.

 

 

 

Stock market breadth closed positive as MORISON led the 22 gainers charts for equity appreciating by +9.71% to close at current N1.13 against 10 losers topped by CWG declining by -9.74% to close at the current price of N1.53.
